Excel keeps identifiers as text. In CSV, import identifier columns as text to keep leading zeros. USD and AUD statements are processed in separate batches with no currency conversion. Missing source fields stay blank. Files are general spreadsheets, not import files for other software.
No statements handy?
Try a made-up statement with an unclear date and a negative commission.
Why not a free PDF converter?
Built for commission statements
Policy numbers stay as text, commission parts stay separate, and each row keeps its source page.
Checks before you rely on it
Flags total mismatches, unclear dates and missing fields wherever the statement gives enough to check.
Statements stay in your browser
Files are processed on your device. Order details, usage counts and site analytics never include statement content.
Common questions
- Will it work with my statement?
- PDFs with selectable text can work. Automatic layouts come from public examples, so most current statements need manual column mapping. Scanned PDFs are not supported. Extracting and reviewing are free, so you can check before paying.
- What files does it accept and produce?
- It reads text-based PDFs, up to 3 files and 30 processed pages per batch, and produces an Excel workbook, a CSV file and a check report. Scanned and password-protected PDFs are not supported.
- How much does it cost?
- Extracting and reviewing are free. Downloading a batch is a one-time payment of USD 3.00, with no subscription. You can re-export the same batch for 7 days after paying.
- Are my statements uploaded?
- No. CommRows reads your PDFs in your browser, and their contents are not sent to our server. Order details, usage counts and site analytics never include statement content. Payment happens on Stripe's hosted checkout page.
- Do I need an account?
- No. There are no user accounts. After paying, your order ID and purchase code restore access to that batch. You still need the original files.
- Does it prove I was paid correctly?
- No. It shows what the statement says and flags problems within it. It does not compare the statement with what you expected to be paid.
- What if it extracts something wrong?
- You can correct any field before downloading. During the beta, if a downloaded value differs from your PDF and we did not flag it before you paid, we refund you in full. If it is unclear, we still refund you.
- Do you sell insurance?
- No. CommRows is software for working with commission statements. It does not sell, quote or broker insurance, and it is not affiliated with any insurer.
